Scrapbooking 4 Less News and Updates: July 2010

Welcome to our July 2010 Newsletter.

I hope you are all managing to stay warm enough to be creative.

This month we are excited to announce that we will be holding our first free on-line class taught by Jan Agnew one of our talented 2010 Design Team Members. Please see below for more information about the free class.

We are also now stocking Prima Flowers, check out our New Products for more details. We are expecting more in the range soon.

Our forum has been buzzing with new challenges.

Our wonderful Design Team have come up with some great ideas using the Kaisercraft La Di Da range of papers and embellishments.

Lisa's LO...

I loved using the Kaisercraft La Di Da collection with its lovely colour scheme and cute little birdies. I love using dimension on my LO's so I have cut out some of the elements from the paper and used double sided foam to raise them off the page and used the pearls to add a little bit of extra bling you sometimes need to finish our LO....Lisa

Jan's Cards

I have taken advantage of the gorgeous elements on this paper, and handcut them for my cards. I have used double-sided foam to add dimension, pearls and Kindy Glitz. I have finished to cards off by using Carolees Creations Adorn It Tiny Stickers.

JUNE/JULY SKETCH CHALLENGE

Create a LO using Jan's Sketch. Upload your LO onto the forum by midnight 25th July to be in the running to win a great scrappy prize. You will find all the details in the forum.

JULY CREATIVE CHALLENGES

Lisa has set some great challenges for July.

Challenge 1 ~ Layout
Use fabric on your LO, any way you like.

Challenge 2 ~ Card
Create a card for a baby, not using traditional colours, a unisex card using bright colours.

Challenge 3 ~ Technique
Create a LO, Lisa would like you to make your own chipboard embellishment ie. buttons or flowers, but must be handmade.

FREE ON-LINE CLASS ~ MAKING YOUR OWN FLOWERS

Jan will be running a free online class in the chatroom on Friday 20th August commencing at 7.00 pm. Kits are available from the online shop. You will require a 6" x 4" black and white portrait photo for the class. Here is a sneak peak.............
